TITLE: OFFICE SERVICES COORDINATOR I (0243)
LOCATION: Cole County, Family Support Division, Department of Social Services (This classification may also be used Statewide by agencies in various locations.)
ANNUAL SALARY: $38,700.00 - $56,688.00

DEFINITION: This is professional work involving the coordination of large-scale procurement, vehicle fleet management, equipment inventory and/or office space lease negotiation and maintenance.  An employee in this class is responsible for a variety of activities related to procurement, storage, distribution and maintenance of expendable and non-expendable supplies, state vehicles, office furniture and equipment; leasing of building space; plant maintenance; etc. Work may involve planning and directing a statewide fleet management program.  Work may involve establishing and maintaining inventory controls, monitoring the status of funds, determining office layouts, and/or directing mail, printing or fleet management units.  Supervision is received from an administrative superior; however, the employee is expected to exercise a high degree of initiative and independence.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: One year of experience as a Building Manager I, Procurement Officer I, Executive II, Buyer II or Automotive Equipment Officer under the Missouri Uniform Classification and Pay System.

OR

Three years of technical or professional experience in property control; procurement; expenditure control; building or office services management; vehicle fleet management and supervision; lease negotiation; interior design and layout; or other closely related areas, including one year at the level of Building Manager I, Procurement Officer I, Executive II, Buyer II or Automotive Equipment Officer; and graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with specialization in accounting, interior design, drafting, public or business administration or closely related areas.  (Graduate work in the specified education areas may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the stated general experience).
