End User Support

End User Support installs and maintains desktop hardware and software, and provides problem resolution services to end users.  All state business functions requiring the use of desktop computing are directly supported and are made possible through End User Support services.  Currently, approximately 140 ITSD End User Support staff provide services for about 28,000 end users.

Challenges currently being addressed are the high cost of travel to support end users in remote locations, increasing needs for after-hours support, and coordination of procurement to maximize volume pricing opportunities.
