State Data Center

The State Data Center (SDC) was established in 1977 by consolidating the Department of Revenue and Office of Administration data centers. The consolidation was implemented to provide centralized data center services to multiple state agencies. Since the original establishment of the SDC, additional state agencies have chosen the SDC to provide data center services.

No public funds are directly appropriated to the State Data Center. With a Cost Allocation Plan, rates for data processing services are determined and billed back to the customer agencies.
