IT Mentoring - Agree and Plan
Mentor - Protégé Agreement
To ensure a mutually rewarding relationship and experience, we, the mentor and protégé, agree to the following terms and conditions of the ITAB Mentoring Program:
- We understand that each of us is responsible to maintain the confidentiality of communicate to each other, to set realistic and challenging goals for this relationship, to meet regularly at the time we agree on, to give each other honest feedback, to evaluate our relationship regularly, and to assess how we are progressing toward the goals stated in this contract.
- We understand that it is the responsibility of the protégé to clarify the goals they want to achieve in the mentoring relationship, to contact the mentor and set up meetings, and to follow up on the goals stated in this contract.
- We understand that it is the responsibility of the mentor to provide coaching and counseling to the protégé, to provide objective feedback about the protégé's current working environment and to help the protégé set objectives to reach the goals stated in this contract.
For the first six months of our year together, our goals are to: (NOTE: Be sure to list goals, objectives for those goals and time frames for achieving those objectives which the two of you have the power to achieve together.)
