Technical Support "Fix it" Page
Display Problems:
The fields on my form appear to be out of alignment...
- Click on the Start button.
- Click on Settings.
- Click on Control Panel.
- Click on Display.
- In the Display Properties Window, select the Settings Tab.
- Set the Screen Display to 800 x 600, click the Apply button to save the display changes.
- After the screen display has been changed, open a OneForm electronic form.
- Fields should now be in alignment with boxes, lines and text on form.

Printing Problems
If using a laser printer...
- Click the Start button.
- Click Settings.
- Click Printers and the Printers Window will open.
- Right-click the icon for laser printer being used.
- Click Properties and the Printer Properties Window will open.
- Click on the Fonts tab.
- Depending on printer set up, select one of the following:
- "Print True type as Bitmap"
- "Send True type fonts to printer according to the font substitution table"
- Click the OK button to save the settings.
- Close all windows, open the electronic form, enter data and try to print.
If using an inkjet/deskjet printer...
- Click the Start button.
- Click Settings.
- Click Printers and the Printers Window will open.
- Right-click the icon for inkjet/deskjet printer being used.
- Click Properties and the Printer Properties Window will open.
- Depending on printer, find the Finishing or General tab.
- Select one of the following printer modes:
- "Econo Mode"
- "Econo Fast"
- Click the OK button to save the settings.
- Close all windows, open the electronic form, enter data and try to print.

Runtime Error
I'm missing the Comdlg32.ocx, Mprv32.dll, or Oleaut32.dll setup file...
OneForm requires a group of setup files to be downloaded to each user's computer.
Normally, when this Runtime Error occurs, all or part of the setup files have not been loaded. Follow the instructions below to download the setup files.
If the Runtime Error still occurs after registering the files,
please contact Forms Services.
Before downloading, always check with your System Administrator or Network Administrator to make sure you have the
permissions required to download the files. The System Administrator or Network Administrator may have to load the setup files for you.
- Click the link below:
- At the File Download Window, select option to "Run program from current location" or "Open" and click OK.
- If a Security Window appears, click the Yes button.
- At the Distributed Eform Initialization Window, click the Yes button.
- At the Welcome Window, click the Finish button.
- At this point, the files will unpack and your screen background will turn green.
- Click the Next button.
- When files are finished loading, click the Finish button.
Once loaded, go to Start/Programs and click on a form title to open.
If the Runtime Error still occurs after registering the files,
please contact Forms Services.
I'm missing the Vspell32.ocx spell checking file...
- Click on the setup file (Visual Speller Setup) below.
- At the File Download Window, select option to "Run program from current location" and click OK.
- At the Security Warning Window: "Authenticode signature not found", click the Yes button.
- The file will begin to run.
- All defaults have been set. Simply click Next and Finish when prompted.
- When file is done, open a OneForm electronic form that contains a large fill area.
- In a large fill-in field, type some data and tab to the next field.
- With your mouse, double-click the large fill-in area.
- Only certain forms have the spell checking feature enabled. If spell-check capabilities are enabled on the form, the spell-checking window will open.
