MO-Web eMail List

The mo-web email list is for Missouri state agency webmasters and digital developers (the same people who usually come to the monthly DMD meetings). Meeting topics and additional materials are announced and discussed on mo-web.

Join the mo-web email list and find out when the next meeting is, add to the agenda, or just find out how to solve the web problem that's been bothering you all week. Traffic on mo-web is usually pretty light.

To subscribe to mo-web, follow the instructions below. Bookmark this page in your web browser so that you can find this information again - should you need to cancel or change your subscription to this service.

We do ask that if you change your email address that you cancel your subscription to mo-web and resubscribe with your new address. If possible, please avoid using temporary email accounts (i.e., accounts given by some Internet Service Providers on a limited trial basis)

Conceal
Subscribers may request a directory listing subscriber names and addresses. Those who prefer to have this information appear in the directory may do so by sending the following message to majordomo@mail.mo.gov (no personal letterhead or signature, please):

set mo-web conceal no

To change your subscription back so that you do not show up on a directory listing, send the following message to majordomo@mail.mo.gov (no personal letterhead or signature, please):

set mo-web conceal yes

Who
If you're curious as to who all is on the mo-web list, you can request a directory listing. You may request the list by sending the following message to majordomo@mail.mo.gov (no personal letterhead or signature, please):

who mo-web

A message is then returned to you showing the names and eMail addresses of mo-web subscribers.

Subscribe
You can, at any time, subscribe to mo-web. You can subscribe by sending the following message to majordomo@mail.mo.gov (no personal letterhead or signature, please):

subscribe mo-web firstname lastname

For example, if my name is John Smith, I would send the message:

subscribe mo-web John Smith

After you subscribe, you will receive a message from mo-web welcoming you to the list. This initial message may take some time to reach you (depending on your email account). If there is a problem with your subscription, you will receive a notice stating the nature of the problem.

Unsubscribe
You can, at any time, cancel your subscription to mo-web. You can cancel your subscription by sending the following message to majordomo@mail.mo.gov (no personal letterhead or signature, please):

unsubscribe mo-web firstname lastname

For example, if my name is John Smith, I would send the message:
